Chris' Old Radios

This radio has been on and off the work bench more than any others in the collection and it finally works properly. This radio uses iron core tuning slugs for the main tuning. The FM side had an open coil and by the time I found it I had had the alignment way off. I didn't think I would ever get the scale to track again. Finally repaired and tuned, this old Emerson has a very good tone and with all new capacitors this radio will play for years. An eBay purchase, it came from coal country in the eastern United States and was full of black dust.
